Base pay range

We are recruiting for a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks and civil engineering scheme on the motorway near Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with machine control and earthworks experience to work on a high-profile infrastructure project.

The Role:

• Oversee setting out and engineering control for a large-scale motorway earthworks project.
• Work with GPS machine control systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
• Manage quality assurance, ensuring all works meet specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct surveys, checks, and reporting on project progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in earthworks and civil engineering projects, particularly in a motorway or infrastructure setting.
• Experience with machine control systems and GPS technology.
• Strong setting out skills and knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and solve on-site challenges.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering).
• CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.
