Location: East Sussex

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Company Benefits

Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an established and leading Telecommunications Provider, seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their busy service desk team.

As the IT Support Engineer / IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing premium service and support to all internal and external customers using available tools and in cooperation with the department and partners.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor service desk for IT issues by reviewing incoming tickets and progress.
2. Support roll out of new applications.
3. Assist other members of the IT team.
4. Prioritise and manage multiple open cases simultaneously.
5. Manage the end-user environment, including computers with software, printers, access to services, and servers.
6. Help maintain security awareness in the organisation.

Key Skills:

1. Experience in a network/IT field.
2. Good understanding of general printing, backup, antivirus, and security principles.
3. Confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Experience managing service desk requests through help desk systems.
5. Knowledge of ITIL processes.
6. Client computing experience (Windows/Linux/Mac).
7. Experience in MS365, Azure, and Networking is a plus.

Requirements:
Due to the nature of the position, you must hold a full driver's license and have access to a vehicle. The role is 100% office-based in East Sussex, with some work outside of hours required for supporting Global projects.
