Qualifications

Job Title: Senior Residential Practitioner - Children's Home

Where you will be based: Swinton, Manchester, North West

The Service Users: Children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

The Company:

  • Size of company: Medium-sized
  • Type: Private
  • Number of children’s homes in the group: 5+
  • Other services they offer: Residential care, Educational support, Therapeutic services, Support Living
  • Company Ofsted track record: Good across all homes and striving for Outstanding
  • Growth Plans: Currently expanding their services to support more children and young people across The North East and North West
  • Ethos / Values: Dedicated to providing the best possible outcomes for children, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment

What does Progression look like: Opportunities for career advancement within the company, including roles such as Deputy Manager and Registered Manager and Regional Managers

Working Week and Pay:

  • Hours: Condensed shifts of two days on, four days off.
  • Sleeps: Included in the condensed shift pattern and paid at £52 per sleep
  • Salary: Base £36,192 + Approx 6 to 8 Sleeps per Month paid at £52 per sleep. Total take-home upto £41,184pa

What you will need/None-Negotiables:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway. (Level 3 Diploma in Adult social care may be considered if work experience with children can be demonstrated)
  • Experience: Ideally experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
  • Driving Licence: Required
  • Fluent in English: Speaking and also the ability to understand different UK dialects.
  • Min Age: 22/23
