Senior Landscape Architect

We're working with a Leeds-based Design Consultancy specializing in Urban Landscaping. This agency is creating spaces within towns & cities that drive community engagement & support the local economy. With a big focus on climate change and biodiversity loss, their work is centered on creating environments that are durable as well as beautifully designed with a consideration for the future.

With offices in Manchester & Edinburgh, this employee-owned, forward-thinking company is currently looking for a skilled Landscape Architect to join their Leeds-based team. Working on high-profile projects across the UK, you will create functional, meaningful work that has the community at the heart of its design.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Can lead projects from ideation to completion
  • Has excellent design skills
  • Has a fine attention to detail
  • Is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (or is supported to become one)
  • Possesses great client management & stakeholder communication skills
  • Has experience across urban regeneration projects
  • Can transform underutilized or degraded urban spaces into vibrant public areas
  • Is a champion of sustainability
  • Has an eye for bespoke design
  • Possesses strong design and technical skills
  • Is CAD proficient (ArchiCAD, AutoCAD), with knowledge of VectorWorks, Google Sketch Up, Revit, Photoshop, and Artlantis
  • Has 2D and 3D presentation skills
  • Can work as part of a team or individually
  • Can work at different stages of design
  • Has a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • Can meet deadlines and work in a fast-moving environment
  • Has a good understanding of UK regulations and processes
  • Can work closely with other members of the design team
