Job description

Senior Building Surveyor – Building Surveying Consultancy in London.

4 days a week in the office and working from home on a Friday.

Salaries are negotiable and depending on experience.

Role and Responsibilities

The role sits in the London Building Consultancy team providing the full spectrum of commercial Building Consultancy advice serving a diverse client base.

It is an excellent opportunity to drive your career forwards by assuming more responsibility, obtaining experience in managing junior team members and building direct client relationships.

You will work across all core Building Surveying service lines, for investors and occupiers, as we believe individuals thrive when delivering a diverse and varied workload.

The Successful Candidate

Our Client is looking for a commercially aware, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can demonstrate strong communication and negotiating skills in a service driven, client facing role.

You should be methodical, diligent, well organised, and able to take on heavy workloads at busy times. We also expect individuals to be able to take responsibility for their own workload and actions, working well in a busy team.

The successful candidate will be an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor with at least 1-2 years post qualification experience in Dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence Building Survey, Contract Administration and Forward Maintenance Plans.

About The Team

The UK Building Consultancy is a 90 strong team of Building Surveyors operating as a single National Team across 6 regional offices both UK with opportunities to work on instructions across Europe.

The London team is largest with 40+ members.

What will a typical day look like?
