We are looking for a passionate and dedicated HR Officer to join our team in London! Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
About the job:
The role requires a people person who values relationships as well as structure processes and has great strategic thinking. We are looking for an individual excited by a growing, fast-paced international environment, ready to wear multiple hats and be involved in a variety of HR projects starting with:
- Creating great onboarding and integration experience for new employees
- Payroll processes
- Employee engagement and actions
- Developed feedback aimed at improving company retention
The position will manage human resources for our multicultural London Office with 70 employees located in the heart of one of the most amazing cities in the world!
What You'll get to do:
- Support our colleagues throughout their journey at EveryMatrix: onboarding, constant feedback, career development, exit
- Answer team members queries on HR matters
- Support and assist employees on career development opportunities
- Manage and solve employee relations issues
- Promote HR initiatives across the teams
- Draft employment contracts and report data for payroll
- Be involved in recruitment processes as necessary
- Communicate regularly with managers to update on HR initiatives, discuss HR issues and collect feedback on team concerns
- Assess business needs and priorities in terms of recruitment, employee relations, new leader coaching, career development
- Work with different HR solutions and systems
- Participate in impromptu projects (employer branding projects and events, various employee opinion surveys, salary grids updates, etc.)
- Develop or contribute to other internal processes and policies (work from home, etc.)
- Maintain calm and support both colleagues and the company during extraordinarily challenging times
What You Need to Shine:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or related field or HR-related courses or certifications (nice to have)
- Knowledge of British Labor Law is a must
- Knowledge of British taxation is a plus
- Passion, enthusiasm, and a great desire to learn are mandatory
- Team player (working well within a team capable of interacting and understanding other employees)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), good organization skills, prioritize effectively
- Proactive and assertive in a diplomatic manner
- Good presentation skills
- Open-minded and flexible
- Kind and resourceful
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
