Overview

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established family company. The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding a portfolio of high-profile existing accounts while identifying and maximising new development opportunities.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth and enhancing brand visibility within the London area. The successful candidate should be sales-driven and an excellent communicator, with a proven ability to maintain and develop strong relationships. You should have commercial acumen, a proactive and results-driven mindset, be well-organised with strong attention to detail, and be motivated to work remotely.

Your goal will be to achieve forecasted growth within the hospitality sector by delivering high-end food solutions from our purpose-built production kitchen and warehouse of speciality food products. Understanding our target audience is key—whether it’s a commercial kitchen operation or another type of food-related service. We learn a lot from potential clients’ menus, as they help identify opportunities to target and drive sales, supported by Braehead Foods.

Travel to the company head office in Kilmarnock is required monthly.

  • Maximise commercial opportunities within existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customers within your portfolio.
  • Prospect new business to drive group-level growth in the hospitality and premium catering sectors.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
  • Visit key high-level contacts for face-to-face meetings monthly and conduct performance reviews.
  • Develop and drive the product mix and sales strategy for each customer.
  • Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for all accounts.
  • Drive business at unit level in line with head office agreements.
  • Position Braehead Foods as the go-to solution for customers.
  • Identify, plan, develop, and review short-, medium-, and long-term goals for each account with clear business plans.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, conduct structured, objective-led customer meetings, and ensure follow-up actions are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain and negotiate product files for customers.
  • Achieve agreed growth targets for sales, profit, retention, and new business KPIs.

Base Salary: £50,000 per year, dependant on experience.
