HGV Technician

Our Ellington client is seeking a dedicated HGV technician to join their team!

Work Life:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with the option for overtime when needed.
• A typical day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Nights.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements.
• Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and modification of the fleet.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.
• Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Experience with HGVs, particularly Scania Trucks.
• Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
• A can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.
