Role Description

This role is located in Helensburgh. This is an on-site role with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing tax planning, tax compliance, and tax preparation activities. Daily tasks include ensuring tax filings are accurate and timely, staying up-to-date with tax law changes, and providing expert tax advice to clients. The role also requires collaborating with other team members and maintaining strong client relationships.

This role is for a core 21 hours per week with extra hours worked during busy tax periods. These working hours can be fulfilled as agreed, with flexibility at any point during the week. Competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation
• In-depth knowledge of Tax Law and regulations
• Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with tax software such as IRIS
• A professional accountancy or tax qualification is compulsory
