An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join one of our Community MH Teams. This is an interesting new post which will have considerable input to the service improvement work being undertaken as part of the MH Transformation. We are aiming to develop new and innovative ways to improve the services by ensuring that everything we do is underpinned by holistic, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches. The post-holder will take a clinical leadership role in the co-ordination and implementation of psychological care and ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist psychological therapies service for patients and their families/carers, with an emphasis on co-production.
The post-holder will join a supportive and friendly senior leadership team which includes senior Clinical Psychologists across the Trust and the Head of Clinical Service and Service Managers for the Wirral area. They will also work closely with the other members of the CMHT leadership team to develop strong working relationships and effective care pathways. A key component of their role is to provide supervision, consultation and training to the wider service.
