Relief Nursery Practitioner - Join us at Childbase Partnership, specifically at our Hertford Barns Day Nursery in Hertford. This role involves providing relief cover for team holidays, training, and other staff leave, working with children aged 0-5 years across the nursery.

As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in contributing towards the ongoing success of our company. Some shifts will be offered to you in advance, while others may become available at short notice. The flexible nature of this 0-hour role means you can decline shifts if you have other commitments.

We are seeking new relief team members who can work varied shifts between the hours of 07:30am-18:30pm, ideally on at least two days each week.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate to others.
• Has some experience of caring for children under five, ideally in a nursery environment, and has an interest in child development and how children learn; you may currently be undertaking an early years or teaching qualification at college or university.
• Can be a positive role model to the children in their care.
• Enjoys contributing within a busy team environment.

We are offering an hourly pay rate of:

• £11.88-£13.11 if you’re qualified to level 3 or above.
• £11.83 if you’re qualified to level 2.
• £11.77 if you’re not early years qualified.
