Multi-Skilled Engineer

I'm in need of a dedicated and resourceful Multi-Skilled Engineer to join my client's Maintenance department at their busy manufacturing facility in Birmingham. The role involves maintaining and improving production efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Description

1. Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
2. Developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve production efficiency.
3. Working collaboratively with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to meet project objectives.
4. Understanding and applying industry best practices and standards in all work activities.
5. Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
6. Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
7. Providing technical support to other departments within the organisation.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and practices in the FMCG industry.

4 On 4 Off (2 Days 2 Nights) - 12 Hours

Profile

1. A successful 'Multi-Skilled Engineer/Maintenance Technician' should have:
2. A recognised Engineering qualification (Level 3 as a minimum).
3. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Hands-on experience with various engineering software.
7. Proficiency in project management and ability to work under pressure.
