Trainee Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and accounts
2. Supporting senior accountants with bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
3. Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
4. Assisting with tax computations and returns
5. Helping with audits and compliance tasks
6. Maintaining and updating financial records
7. Handling queries from clients and internal teams
8. Learning and implementing financial software and systems
9. Performing any other duties as required by the finance team

Requirements:

1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working towards one)
2. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or Xero is a plus)
4. Strong numerical and analytical skills
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
