Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role?

A welcoming SEND School in Hendon is looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis to start ASAP.

The Role

The pupil is 12 years old and male. This pupil displays behaviours that challenge but can also be very anxious.

The pupil also displays signs of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), which is characterised by an extreme avoidance of everyday demands and an anxiety-driven need to be in control. PDA is sometimes known as Extreme Demand Avoidance.

The school is looking for someone who will be able to maintain behaviour and boundaries while encouraging the pupil to participate and engage in lessons.

The School

The school is a welcoming SEND School that supports children and young people from 4 to 19. The school encourages a love for learning through a rich and broad curriculum and extended activities. You will be working with a friendly staff team who are passionate about children and young people achieving the best possible outcomes.
