B2B PR Manager

PrettyGreen is seeking a Freelance B2B Senior/Account Manager to join our Comms team. Someone who understands our mission to deliver creative communications that positively impact people, planet & performance.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Freelance B2B PR Account Manager to lead client accounts and drive media coverage in key trade publications and on LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B communications, excellent media relationships, and a strategic mindset for building brand authority in niche industries.

This is a freelance role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with two of our biggest clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns that secure media coverage in trade publications, business media, and relevant online platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in the B2B sector.
• Craft compelling press releases, bylined articles, opinion pieces, and thought leadership content.
• Evaluate and advise on clients’ presence on LinkedIn - including organic content strategy, executive positioning, and engagement with key stakeholders.
• Monitor media trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to identify PR opportunities.
• Coordinate media interviews, press briefings, and event participation for clients.
• Report on PR performance metrics, media coverage, and campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including content writers, digital marketers, and designers, to align messaging and ensure impactful storytelling.
• Message and narrative development: a good understanding of what makes an attractive corporate story, and how to work with a business to develop angles.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a B2B PR or communications role, ideally within a B2B agency or corporate environment.
• Strong media relations skills, with a track record of securing coverage in trade publications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
• Experience managing LinkedIn content and engagement strategies for B2B brands.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to advise clients on media positioning and thought leadership.
• Experience working with PR tools such as media databases, coverage tracking platforms, and social media analytics.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage client expectations as a freelancer.
