Location: Guildford/hybrid
Term: 12 month fixed term contract
Salary: c£40,000 dep on exp

The role
We are recruiting for a newly created role as a Finance Audit Coordinator to join our Finance function to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of external audit activities. The role reports to the Senior External Audit coordinator and will also have close interactions with the Financial Controller who reports into the Group Financial Controller. This role could be a great opportunity for someone with a Finance background who perhaps wants to focus more on participating in the audit side of the Finance function, instead of BAU Finance work. Or perhaps someone who wishes to move into a finance role as part of a career move and is looking to get back into the insurance industry and create future career opportunities within a reputable global organisation!
You don't necessarily require prior audit experience, but it would be beneficial to have interacted with auditors in the recent past and to have experienced the issues that can arise between auditors and the Business. Understanding how a Finance function operates is desirable, you must be highly organised and have good co-ordination/project management skills and be able to challenge and interact at all levels with confidence and credibility.
