After- School Tutor

Location: Barnet, North London
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Afterschool Hours

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned tuition in GCSE Maths and English.
• Plan tailored sessions based on individual learning needs and exam goals.
• Track and support student progress with clear feedback and measurable results.
• Build strong rapport with students and encourage academic confidence and independence.
• Sessions will take place in the student's home, local library, or the school the student currently attends.

What You Need:

• QTS - essential for this role.
• Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths or English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Available to teach sessions during after-school hours.

Desired:

• Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs.

For some of the children we support, this tuition is the only form of education they receive, so a passionate tutor looking to make a difference is essential!
