Warehouse operative Coleshill.
We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working warehouse operative for our aerospace customer in Coleshill, Birmingham, B46.
This is a permanent position via Rapier Employment. This company is a market-leading adhesive, sealant and lubricant distributor.

The Role

Working in a modern, clean and well-lit environment, you will mainly be responsible for working in the goods in department. You will also be trained to work in other departments.
You will be expected to lift items of various weights up to 10kg. Using an order-picking scanning gun, you will need to have a good level of numeracy and literacy as you will be expected to locate various items using a numbered system.
If you have a Bendi licence, this would be an advantage; however, the majority of the work will be manual.

Hours of Work

• 08:30-17:30 (11:30 finish every other Friday)
• 2x 15 minute breaks
• 1x 30 minute lunch break
• 37.5 hours paid.

Pay Rate

Starting salary of £22,601.00 per annum (£11.59 per hour, will go up in April). This would increase with the more skills you learn.

Required

• A good level of English (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Attention to detail
• Goods In Warehouse experience desirable
• A stable work history
• Physically healthy
• A flexible and helpful attitude
• Bendi licence (beneficial)
• You must be able to travel to the Coleshill area for 08:30 am, Monday to Friday.
