We have partnered with a leading B Corp financial communications consultancy to find an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to join their unique and fast-growing practice. Specialising in maintaining reputations within capital markets and financial media, as well as engaging with a range of public policy issues, this consultancy has won best workplace awards two years in a row!

Looking for a candidate ready to develop and enhance their own skills and style, whilst jumping onto ad hoc projects to help with M&A's, IPOs, and crisis communications. The successful candidate will handle main client accounts, while ensuring the team runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities - Financial Communications:
  • Day to day management of a portfolio of client accounts ensuring the team is running well to deliver a seamless client experience at all times.
  • Build, maintain and own strong relationships within client teams at the appropriate level and act as secondary advisor to ensure the smooth running of accounts.
  • Prepare documents such as press releases, Q&A, presentations etc. for review by the consultant team ahead of submission/delivery to the client.
  • Handle all media relations in relation to your accounts and develop full media handling skills whilst establishing a broad personal network to include sell-side analysts, journalists and other advisors to improve your understanding of the market.
  • Proactively manage the clients' financial calendar to ensure that events such as results days etc. are properly planned and executed by our in-house teams.
Key Requirements - Financial Communications:
  • First class interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team to deliver results.
  • Ability to act under own initiative and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
  • Able to manage time and prioritise effectively.
  • High standard of written work and strong analytical skills.
  • Solid financial acumen and a genuine interest in and knowledge of the media/markets.
