The Role
As a Creative Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and executing social-first brand strategies that drive audience engagement and brand growth. You will support on developing insight-led creative ideas, collaborate with the creative and account teams across a portfolio of clients, and ensure our work is both innovative and true to social-first principles. We are looking for expertise in brand positioning, audience development, and content strategy to help our clients thrive in a fragmented and evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and strategic concepts for social-first campaigns, ensuring they align with brand objectives across full funnel briefs.
- Provide support to the organic creative team to support with the planning and execution of content calendars across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), ensuring consistency in voice and messaging.
- Find and apply audience insights effectively to help position creative responses for both organic and paid output
- Support on brainstorming sessions and collaborate with creative and strategy teams to bring ideas to life.
- Conduct research on cultural trends, audience behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy.
- Support on crafting clear narratives and campaign strategies and present these to clients
- Work closely with clients and all agency teams to present ideas, refine creative direction, and ensure the ongoing alignment of creative with signed off strategy
- Monitor campaign performance, key metrics, and work with internal teams to optimise strategies for maximum impact.
- Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform updates, and digital innovations to keep our strategies cutting-edge.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience in a creative strategy, social creative, or content strategy role, preferably at a social-first agency or in-house brand team.
- Clear understanding of social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts) and what good content looks like for brands on these platforms
- Clear understanding of both organic and paid social approaches
- A strong grasp of trends, cultural trends, Gen Z & millennial behaviors, and online storytelling.
- Experience developing insight-driven creative ideas and campaigns.
- Strong communication and presentation skills - comfortable presenting and storytelling to clients.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and creative development.
