Senior Category Manager

Large UK FMCG | Brand & Own Label

Homebased, UK

The role:

This role focuses on creating and implementing the 'Perfect Store' strategy to increase range share through KPI execution. By collaborating with broader teams both internally and within the customers, you will enhance the fixture quality and increase distribution by driving action out of the data.

You will need:

1. Significant FMCG category development experience with Top4 Grocery retailers.
2. Strong career background working for large branded FMCG manufacturers.
3. Strong experience in using category data and driving action from this.
4. Experience in creating and delivering 'Perfect Store' strategy.
5. Highly numerate (inc. P&L financials) with good analytical skills & critical thinking ability.
6. Drive engagement on NPD forecasting, pricing and promotional strategies.
7. Ability to increase fixture quality and range share.

This role is a pivotal figurehead within the wider business and will work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and NPD to ensure the brand continues to maintain its strong category position across several categories.
