Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Finance Analyst | London | £45,000-£50,000 per annum | Luxury Retail | Permanent | Hybrid

JasperRose have partnered exclusively with a central London based, luxury retail and wholesale brand who are looking to recruit an Analyst on a permanent basis. You will be joining at an exciting time as they have just launched new revenue streams and have increased their European presence. This is a hybrid role based in Central London with the expectations of 3 days a week in office right in the heart of the City.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have extensive exposure partnering with various stakeholders across their regions. The role will be involved with evolving projects, improving processes, completing the budget process, and identifying risks and opportunities for the business.

Your main duties will be:

• Coaching and mentoring a Finance Analyst (no management experience is required)
• Reviewing and owning month end process to ensure that they are in line with budgets (accruals/ prepayments, journal postings, cost centre reporting, stock analysis, margin variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations)
• Business partnering with Sales, Cost Centre Managers, and Production teams
• Producing weekly sale and margin reports with order book analysis
• Preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be an active studier with experience working in a commercially focused role within the consumer industry where you have analysed large data sets and worked closely with stakeholders across the business. Advanced Excel skills are essential. You will be proactive in nature with the confidence to drive change and communicate efficiently.
