Position: Nursery Chef
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: From £29,000
Hours: Full-time, Part-time available, 40 hours a week on full-time basis

Do you have the skills to lead a busy nursery kitchen and contribute to the health and well-being of the little ones? If so, we want you to join our team as a Nursery Chef! At Insight Education we're excited to partner with a lovely nursery to find a passionate Nursery Chef to help support the health and happiness of their children.

Key Responsibilities of Nursery Chef:

1. Prepare and serve balanced, wholesome meals and snacks tailored to children's nutritional needs.
2. Create menus that comply with dietary guidelines and accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions.
3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
4. Manage kitchen stock and place orders as needed.
5. Collaborate with nursery staff to ensure meals align with daily schedules and activities.

Requirements:

1. Food and Hygiene Safety Certification Level 2 or above essential.
2. Previous experience cooking in a domestic or commercial business.
3. DBS or willingness to undergo one.
4. Passionate about cooking!
