A week in the life of a Solutions Engineer at Fifth Dimension

It's Monday morning. You kick off the week by mapping out a client's existing lease review process, identifying where our system can add immediate value. By Tuesday, you're designing the perfect workflow, configuring a template that will extract critical lease clauses from hundreds of commercial property documents. Wednesday, you're testing the implementation, fine-tuning for accuracy and shipping to our customer. Watching as your work transforms a manual process that took days into an automated workflow that delivers structured data in seconds. Thursday brings an excited email from the real estate portfolio manager: "This is exactly what we needed. I can now identify upcoming lease events and unusual terms across our entire portfolio without reading through thousands of pages." Then you're on a call with another customer, getting their feedback on your solution to analyse an acquisition target's entire document repository, revealing insights that inform a multi-million dollar investment decision. You address the feedback right away, getting them the next version out Friday, before the end of the week.

What you’ll do

Reporting to our CPO and Founder Johnny Morris, you'll be spending your time bridging the gap between our LLM powered technology and our enterprise customers’ unique needs, working directly with customers to understand their workflows, designing and implementing custom solutions using our genAI platform.

Day to day, you will…

Engage with customers to understand their workflows, gather feedback, and identify GenAI automation opportunities

Work with our account management team to identify and prioritise opportunities to add the most value to our customers

Design and implement prompt engineering solutions using our system, including:

• Data extraction from complex property leases and documents
• Workflow automation for a variety of intensive processes, like drafting IC memos or auditing supplier contracts
• Tone of voice modeling for diverse client content needs

Test and analyse our AI tools to measure improvements and provide actionable feedback to engineers

Support customers post-sale, leading aspects of onboarding and collaborating to improve their system setup

Develop deep expertise in our customers' processes and industries, sharing this knowledge with the team

What we're looking for

About you

You'll have solid experience working with AI technology and a proven track record of applying it to business challenges. You're naturally curious, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

You've got real-world experience putting AI to work in businesses, and you love digging into how customers operate to find where we can make a difference. Details don't slip past you; you're comfortable wading through lengthy documents to get the full picture. As someone who picks up new skills quickly, you're energised by the fast-paced world of startups. Your entrepreneurial spirit shines through in everything you do, and you have a knack for working directly with customers.

You’ll have:

• SAAS solutions, implementation or pre-sales experience with a complex product
• Proven track record of taking ownership of client deliverables—and actually delivering them (or having a good story about failing)
• Ability to translate from technical to non-technical audiences without breaking a sweat
• High attention to detail and large capacity to get into DOCUMENTS, we're talking thousands of pages of real estate contracts
• Grit and determination, you run at problems, not away from them. You're explicitly up for long hours, tight deadlines, and moments of heroism
• A good understanding of genAI fundamentals
• Semi-pro at prompt engineering with a deep passion for it—you've got the bug

If you can also tick off any of the below bonus points (don’t worry if it’s some or none though!)

• Some software engineering experience—vibe level, not necessarily writing production code
• Start-up or scale-up experience—you know what it means to wear multiple hats
• Real estate, law, or other relevant industry expertise
• International experience or language skills (other than English)
