EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant with a small class of pupils with SEN needs, behavioural difficulties, and other complex needs. Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Boston starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting children in class with behavioural difficulties and SEN needs.
2. Liaising with the teacher to stay updated with student progress.
3. Providing 1:1 intervention support or general support.
4. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

The Right Candidate Will Have:

1. Relevant qualifications.
2. Proven experience supporting children or young adults.
3. Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs.
4. Two education or school-based references.
5. Must have Legal Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
6. Must have a current clear and enhanced DBS on the update service.
7. The ability to support teaching and learning within a special needs environment.
8. An empathic approach to behaviour management.
