HLTA - Hexham

Education World are looking to recruit a HLTA for a school in the Hexham area. The school are looking for an immediate start after October half term.

The role involves providing support to SEN children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other additional needs. The role also requires a knowledge of phonics programs such as Read Write Inc which you will deliver to small groups in and out of the classroom. This role requires the candidate to have or be willing to pay for a DBS and upload this to the Update Service.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Experience working with SEN children (either work related or in a personal capacity e.g. children or family members with SEN)
2. A DBS already on the update service, or a willingness to obtain one.
3. Experience with delivering phonics programs, preferably Read Write Inc.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £90.00-£115.00 per day

Schedule: Day shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, No weekends

Experience: phonics: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: DBS on the Update Service (required), Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
