Job description

Artemis Human Capital is recruiting an Account Director for a leading Media Group in Northern Ireland. This role focuses on driving advertising revenue across print and digital platforms, managing key clients and agencies to grow market share and achieve revenue targets, with a strong emphasis on digital growth.

To ensure the successful candidate hits the ground running, you will come from a media background and have a strong understanding of this industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans, prospect new clients, and adapt to market trends.
  • Solution Selling: Tailor advertising solutions to client needs, integrating print and digital strategies for maximum impact.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and agencies, ensuring retention and growth.
  • Revenue & Reporting: Meet/exceed targets, forecast revenue, and track sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to optimize campaign execution and represent the company at industry events.

KPIs:

  • Revenue Targets: Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Number of new accounts closed and retention rate of existing accounts.
  • Pipeline Development: Consistent growth in pipeline through proactive client outreach and follow-up.
  • Cross-Selling & Upselling: Additional revenue generated from existing clients through expanded product offerings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5 years in agency/key account advertising sales (media/publishing preferred)
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Established relationships with NI media agencies
  • Digital and print advertising expertise
