Job Description

Position: Electromechanical Field Service Engineer (Digital Cinema)

Salary: £33-35k starting salary

Location: Guildford area, covering South East region with travel into central London when required.

Required Qualifications:

1. Electrical/electronic engineering/practical experience, including the ability to read circuit diagrams and an understanding of 3-phase electrics.
2. Mechanical engineering/practical experience.
3. Good IT knowledge and skills, PC and software literate.
4. Knowledge of network fault finding and corrective measures.
5. Physically fit; ability to lift equipment and parts, negotiate stairs, and work at heights from a scaffold tower.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Previous engineering or technical support experience in digital cinema or theatre management systems.
2. Knowledge and experience of Sony cinema equipment; knowledge of Barco, NEC and/or Christie would also be beneficial.

My client is an EU-wide Field Service provider looking for an Electromechanical Field Service Engineer to join a forward-looking team involved in challenging, customer-focused projects across a range of sectors, with the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading brands in their field. You will be servicing, repairing, and installing digital cinema equipment, with the potential of additionally working on robotics equipment and other disciplines as required and trained.
