Lead VR/UX/UI Designer

£400 p/d PAYE (contract)

Seeking a talented Senior/Lead VR Designer with a strong portfolio of VR applications or games. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design immersive experiences, applying user-centered design principles and effectively communicating ideas to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Conduct user research and testing, incorporating feedback into designs.
• Apply user-centered design (UCD) processes to create engaging VR experiences.
• Organise and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
• Take ownership of projects, making impactful decisions to drive progress.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior/Lead VR Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Deep understanding of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
• Proficiency in user research and testing methodologies.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Product Design, UX Design, HCI, or related field.
• Experience working with Figma
• Experience in VR prototyping tools such as ShapesXR
• Familiarity with Unity and basic programming.
• Knowledge of VR design trends and innovations.
