Breakfast Chef

We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Main Kitchen Team at The Lanesborough.

Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London’s most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.

Candidate Profile

As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent food offering, being able to adapt, when necessary, based on guests' requirements, delivering consistently the same high level of culinary experience to our guests. You and your team must be trained and fully understand both the menu and what is expected in this high-level professional brigade. As Breakfast Chef you will oversee all aspects of the breakfast section in the kitchen, preparing all breakfasts in accordance with established recipes and methods.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef within a busy fine dining environment preferred
• Ability to work both alone and in a team under pressure of a busy service. London experience is desirable but not essential
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification preferred although not essential for commencement as will be certified with the Company
• Proven track record of running a section
• Exhibit excellent technical and natural cooking abilities
• Excellent command of the English language
• Please note this role requires an element of manual handling and on occasion heavy lifting
