Principal Safety Consultant opportunity in the North West area with an established company who work in the Energy market and other sectors. The person they are looking for must have experience working on upstream oil and gas or Hydrogen/renewable projects as a Technical/Process Safety Engineer providing support and technical solutions. You must have a strong understanding of most of the following methods/tools including: QRA, SIL and ALARP. You must have strong commercial/business skills as well as having the technical qualities. You will be expected to mentor others in the team and also look for new business opportunities/work-streams. Any experience with workshop facilitation would be very beneficial.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of energy projects throughout the complete process from conceptual design through to operations. You will get the chance to work on live projects and provide “real time” safety solutions as well as providing support at design stage.

1. Principal Safety Consultant with experience in the oil and gas/energy sector
2. Someone who enjoys providing bespoke solutions and can think outside the box
3. Principal Safety Consultant who has a degree in Safety, Risk, Physics, Mathematics or closely related
4. Someone who wants to be part of a team and can motivate/mentor others
5. Principal Safety Consultant who has the technical depth to provide solutions on live operational projects
6. Someone who has strong numerical aptitude and is strong with QRA's etc.
7. Principal Safety Consultant who can communicate at all levels internally and externally
8. Someone who can work with the senior team to generate new business and make sure existing clients are getting the best possible service from your team.
