Job Description

Transaction Advisory Manager, Technical Accounting, Acquisition/Disposal

- Transaction Advisory Manager and Technical Accounting

Financial Services - Global Bank and Asset Management house

City of London location with 3 days a week in office

Expert advice on all aspects of finance and accounting.
Evaluate and advise on accounting and financial control consequences for new products and complex transactions.
Approval process of new transactions from a finance perspective.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, AASB, or FRS, particularly with IFRS 10, IFRS 9, and IAS 28).
Balance sheet and P&L, providing support to offshore finance teams with core accounting processes such as month-end close and audits.
Collaborate with the team to enhance financial procedures as Financial Control mindset on any transaction/acquisition/disposal.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Transaction Advisory Manager, Technical Accounting, Acquisition/Disposal' should have:

An educational background in Accounting, Finance, Maths, Economics, Econometrics, or a related field and ACA/CPA member.
A Big 4 or Top 60 Audit/Advisory background before a likely internal move to Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, M&A, or equivalent for that more commercial understanding of acquisitions and disposals.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards [IFRS, AASB, FRS, IAS...].
