Role Description

This is a voluntary part-time remote role for a Head of Community & Partnerships at Vendoir. The role involves engaging with the community, developing communication strategies, managing community programs, and leading the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of event planning and be part of an exciting startup journey.

About the Role:

This is a voluntary, part-time position (10-20 hours per week with flexible working hours) reporting directly to the leadership team and attending monthly board meetings. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a community engagement strategy.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including the Engage for Good community.
  • Creating meaningful touchpoints and fostering ongoing collaboration.
  • Driving social engagement and expanding Vendoir's reach.
  • Developing strategies to engage the Engage for Good community year-round, beyond in-person events.

Qualifications

  • Community Engagement and Community Development skills
  • Experience in Program Management
  • Team Leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for building communities and fostering meaningful relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Prior experience in event planning or community engagement is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
