The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Dispatch Operative

Location: Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales

Shift: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:15 (Overtime available during peak times)

As our dispatch operative you will process, pick, and get orders ready for shipping from our onsite warehouse. Our products benefit the lives of animals within the UK and internationally, therefore ensuring they are processed on time, in full, and packaged safely is important to our customers and their animals.

You will be provided with full training and have responsibility for:

  1. Processing orders
  2. Producing paperwork and documentation associated with orders
  3. Maintaining stock records and stock rotations
  4. Supporting with stock takes as required
  5. Ensuring hygiene standards are met within the department contributing to audits
  6. Working as part of the team to look at ways to improve safety as part of continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

  1. Desire to learn and train on all elements of the role
  2. Good attention to detail with a right first-time mentality
  3. Ability to work to deadlines
  4. Experience in a warehousing environment would be desirable
