Job description

Locum Oncology/Haematology Pharmacist (Fully Remote) - NHS Hospital service - 4 days per week

Hunter AHP are partnering a large NHS Trust, who are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Oncology/Haematology Pharmacist to join their team on a fully remote basis from mid-February/March onwards! They require cover x4 weekdays per week (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday). This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in oncology and haematology to work fully remotely. The role is offered on a 6-month contract, with a mid-February/March start.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Verification of SACT prescriptions for day units.
  2. Support and guidance for rotational pharmacists.
  3. Handling queries from doctors and nurses, mainly via email, with occasional Teams meetings or phone calls as required.
Key Requirements:
  1. Completion of BOPA passport at 2c level for adult solid tumours and adult haematology.
  2. Experience using the ARIA prescribing system.
  3. Ability to work 30 hours per week at 8a level.
Working Hours:

Normal working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The ideal schedule is Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, with flexibility available for working hours and patterns if necessary.

Salary:

Pay rates from £32 to £35 per hour (paid via PAYE direct engagement).

Important Notes:

The role is not suitable for individuals who need to care for dependents. This is a fully remote position, offering excellent flexibility and work-life balance.
