Join a leading provider as a Pre-Hybrid Infrastructure Consultant, working closely with Account Managers and the Post-Sales team, with a focus on Servers, Storage, and Backup. This role involves collaborating within the Pre-Sales team to uncover and solve customer business and technical challenges. The consultant will work strategically to understand customer needs and partner with vendors and service providers to design comprehensive end-to-end solutions that combine both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.

As a key member of the Technical Pre-Sales function, the consultant will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the Hybrid Infrastructure division. The role involves supporting pre-sales engagements by thoroughly understanding client requirements and participating in technical discussions to ensure the proposed solutions meet customer expectations and drive optimal infrastructure performance in a secure, modernized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build upon your consultative skills to uncover customer challenges
• Early engagement with customers in selling servers, storage and backup solutions
• Provide technical pre-sales support for opportunities involving servers, storage and backup solutions
• Continuously learn and certify against key vendors within Hybrid Infrastructure such as Veeam, HPE, DELL, Microsoft Azure, VMWare, etc.

Skills/Must have:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (i.e. Presales/consultant/engineer)
• Exposure to infrastructure services and legacy transitions (Windows, VMWare, Azure, Dell, etc.)
• Experience in recommending and designing solutions

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Azure, Core Infrastructure, and Virtualisation

Salary:

• £51,750 - £66,750 Basic Salary Per Annum + OTE (£69k-£89K)

Location:

• Chippenham is the preferred location but they will also take someone in London, Manchester or Northampton (Hybrid - 2/3 Days a Week)
• If not based in the Chippenham office then they may occasionally need to travel to the Chippenham office to meet with the rest of the team every quarter (everything is expensed for this!)
