As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist you would be joining our dynamic Children's Speech and Language Therapy team as a speech sound disorder specialist.
The Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service is based at St Martins Hospital working within a range of health and education settings across Bath and North East Somerset.
This role is working across both the clinic and communities team, and the schools service. You would be providing support to children and young people and their families across the local area and providing specialist advice and support to the team on speech sound disorders.
You would be working as part of a friendly and supportive team who meet regularly and offer a broad range of experience and expertise. We have a robust supervision structure to ensure every therapist can meet their full potential and achieve their learning goals. As a team we are committed to providing a high quality service with children and young people at the heart of our service delivery.
It is essential for candidates to be able to travel around the local area in order to deliver services. Candidates are also required to have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent, alongside registration with the Health Professions Council and be a member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

You will be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who has strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach to ensure you deliver positive experiences to children and young people and their families.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
