We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our Organisational Development & Culture Centre of Excellence within the HR function at LTHT.

In this key role, you will play a vital part in contributing to the delivery of transformational change initiatives, fostering an inclusive, engaging workplace culture and supporting the development of our colleagues.

Main duties of the job

As an Organisational Development Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture while also taking on Team Leader responsibilities. Alongside managing and supporting your team, you will design and facilitate impactful learning interventions. Your work will empower colleagues to create a high performing and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, aligning with our 'Leeds Way' values and ensuring the best possible patient care.

You will be in good company amongst a resourceful, innovative and impactful team of colleagues who are known for evidence-based thought leadership, professional guidance and service delivery.

Our Organisational Development and Culture Centre of Excellence brings together a range of specialisms that deliver a joined-up service across the whole organisation from corporate induction, appraisals, training solutions, inclusion and positive action, apprenticeships and employability, leadership and personal development, coaching, OD consultancy, and employee voice and engagement.

Job responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs, coaching sessions and team development initiatives that drive positive change and enhance team effectiveness.

Leading and inspiring a team is a key aspect of this role. You will play a crucial part in guiding and motivating your team members, ensuring their success, and contributing to the overall impact of our Centre of Excellence.

You'll collaborate across the Centre of Excellence on impactful OD projects, achieving shared Trust goals. You'll also partner with line managers, supporting their leadership development through coaching and experience.

A data-driven approach is essential. You will analyse data and evaluate the impact of OD interventions to inform future design and delivery, ensuring that our programs are effective and aligned with organisational goals.

A role model for the trust's values and behaviours to ensure our values are supported and embedded in all elements across the organisation.

Furthermore, continuous professional development is essential. You will have access to ongoing Organisational Development (OD) support to boost your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain at the forefront of best practice.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent work experience within Organisational Development or Learning & Development
• Evidence of further training or CPD relating to leadership and management, OD or L&D Psychometric tools accreditation eg. Insights or similar.

Experience

• Experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development, and/or leadership & management initiatives and interventions.
• Team leader and management experience
• A proven track record of delivering OD interventions within a large organisation.
• Ability to influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience of embedding organisational values, culture change and behavioural frameworks.

Skills & Behaviours

• Skilled OD Practitioner and facilitator with knowledge of leadership and management theories, tools and practices.
• Ability to manage/prioritise own work and work collaboratively to achieve common goals & maximise resources.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform their work.
• Delivering management / leadership development interventions.
• Coaching, Mediation and Conflict Resolution.
