Principal Educational Psychologist & SEMH Service Manager

Are you an experienced Educational Psychologist looking for a leadership role or a change of setting? A local authority is seeking a Principal Educational Psychologist & SEMH Service Manager to lead the Educational Psychology Service, Emotional Health Academy, Exclusion & Reintegration Team, and Mental Health Support Team.

In this role, you will:

1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for educational psychology and SEMH services.
2. Develop policies promoting inclusion, mental health, and wellbeing for children and young people.
3. Oversee service delivery, ensuring effective casework, assessments, and intervention strategies.
4. Lead multi-agency collaboration, school support, and service improvement initiatives.
5. Manage budgets, staff development, and traded services with schools.

Requirements:

1. HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist with leadership experience.
2. Strong knowledge of SEND, mental health, school improvement, and safeguarding.
3. Proven experience in service management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
