About the job

As Reservations and Revenue Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Proactively manage inventory for the hotel to maximize revenue derived from the room inventory.
  • Regularly check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning for the hotel.
  • Ensure all reservations are accurately recorded with correct market segments, source codes and phone in codes.
  • Effectively use systems (HMS, IDeaS and Delphi) to determine, implement, manage and control accurate and agreed upon revenue management strategies, i.e., pricing, inventory and selling strategies.
  • Initiate briefings with the reservations team and/or Duty Managers to communicate business performance, changes and selling strategies and all other relevant information such as new packages or promotions.
  • Take part in monthly departmental meetings to communicate monthly results, business forecast, training opportunities, product development and hotel news.
  • Be proactive on a daily basis in seeking out business opportunities and actively developing good relationships across all segments with bookers to create greater loyalty for Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London.
