Due to our continued success and growing business demands we currently have a vacancy for a CIVIL ENGINEER who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Head Office in Braintree, offering hybrid working once your induction is complete.

As a CIVIL ENGINEER, you will be working on a range of structural engineering projects, from concept design through approvals to construction, preparing calculations and technical design information to deliver innovative structural engineering solutions, for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

1. Liaising with the Project Engineer
2. Supervising & assisting CAD Technicians
3. Work closely on construction plans with clients, architects, and other professionals
4. Develop design ideas using AutoCAD/Civil3D/InfoDrainage
5. Carry out site inspections
6. Attend project meetings in house or on site

Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

1. Post-graduation experience gained working on Residential, Commercial & Educational Developments
2. Experience in reinforced concrete structures and drainage design would be desirable
3. Hold accredited MEng or BEng degree in civil or structural engineering
4. Be looking to become or be in the process of becoming Chartered
5. Associate-Members of the Institution of Civil Engineers would also be considered
