Job description
Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Carlisle
Start Date: Immediate start
Salary: £85 - £105 per day
TeacherActive are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within an excellent secondary school based in the Carlisle area.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant you must have the ability to engage with students through Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful teaching assistant must have the ability to provide support to students with additional requirements such as ADHD and ASD / Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable)
- Experience supporting SEND students
- Ability to engage with students
- Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
