Position Overview

The Business Intelligence Team at Sports Interactive is responsible for the collection, manipulation, analysis and sharing of data for many areas of the business (sales, gameplay, research etc.) and using that data to forecast future behaviour to inform game design and business strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role or similar. Proven, high-quality experience with SQL and Power BI are essential as well as proven ability to impact change using data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards containing key information on our products, ensuring information is available and accurate.
  • Write and maintain code that underpins our dashboards, ensuring code is accurate, concise and understandable.
  • Produce reports relating to gameplay and other relevant areas to help aid the game design process and understanding of our products and players.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Business Intelligence Manager, Head of Business Intelligence, the Studio Director, the COO, and others at the studio.
  • Deep dive analysis of interesting or trending activity.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Create detailed documentation of processes relating to the above.
  • Undertake research as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience within a data analytical role (minimum 2 years).
  • Proven use of SQL (any flavour).
  • Practical experience of Power BI. Tableau also beneficial.
  • Self-starter, passionate about data analytics and able to put forward ideas to work on.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Football Manager products.

Desirable Skills

  • Statistical knowledge.
  • Databricks experience.
  • Python, R, Machine learning.
