Senior Construction Inspector

Job Description

Engineered Concepts is seeking an experienced construction observer to oversee work being performed on pump stations and/or treatment plants.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Must be able to work with contractor personnel and various stakeholders to assure work conforms to project plans, specs and approved submittals.
2. Attend various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.
3. Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in the project manual.
4. Assist with the preparation of written reports and documentation. Construction reports, pictures and logs are written and filed daily.
5. Perform materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.
6. Assist with the coordination of required project acceptance testing.
7. Point out potential problems to the contractor to keep chief inspector and/or engineer informed of project progress.
8. Perform specific installation tasks and field measurements.
9. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Must comply with company mandated safety policies.
11. Must have a fundamental understanding of construction.
12. Must be able to read plans and have a good understanding of project specifications.
13. Perform other duties as may be required.

Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

OSHA-10 & Confined Space Required

Salary Range - $40.00 - $50.00 per hour plus mileage or per diem.
