Sports Coach

Due to expansion, Football FUNatics are looking to recruit Football Sport coaches (self-employed or looking to become self-employed).

We are a team of professional qualified fun-loving sports coaches, Youth and Play workers who provide high-quality fun football sessions to schools and local communities across the West Midlands.

We separate ourselves as we provide a no-pressure environment where kids of all ages and abilities can meet new friends, learn life skills such as confidence, teamwork, and discipline, develop their core values as well as physical skills and football techniques to help grow the passion of young footballers.

We deliver enjoyable, structured activities in a safe, enthusiastic, and friendly environment. Our aim is to 'keep football FUN'.

Who are we looking for:

1. Reliable, committed, and motivated coaches to provide football activities to reception through to year 6.
2. You must be self-employed or looking to become self-employed.
3. Experience in sport coaching with a FA Youth or Play worker qualifications.
4. Experience working with Key stage 1 and 2 and be able to provide fun football sessions.
5. A knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with a group of up to 30 children.
6. Someone who is able to work remotely.
7. Basic administration skills.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in sports coaching or in the sports/education sector.
2. Or Youth / Playwork coaching qualification.
3. A current First Aid qualification (or be willing to work towards).
4. A current Safeguarding and Protect children certificate (or be willing to work towards).

Essential:

1. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
2. Self-employed or looking to become self-employed.
3. Enhanced DBS check will be required.
