About the Role

Shore Executive have been appointed on behalf of a £75M+ turnover Tier 1 Commercial Fit-Out Contractor in their search for a Project Director to join their London team.

This is a high-impact leadership role, overseeing one to two major cut and carve office fit-out projects, each valued between £20M - £30M+. You will drive project success from tender through to completion, playing a crucial role in client engagement, programme management, and external stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery and commercial performance.
• Develop and oversee project delivery programmes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Manage and mentor the project delivery team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring engagement from preconstruction to post-handover.
• Oversee and coordinate external consultants, including architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, and specialist consultancies.
• Take full ownership of the design delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Manage the procurement process, including the selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, design, and commercial teams to enhance tender and bid capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and best practices.
• Drive procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality execution.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A proven track record working for a Tier 1 Commercial Fit-Out Main Contractor, with project leadership experience in office fit-outs.
• Strong expertise in CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
• Hands-on experience managing cut and carve office projects.
• A client-facing mindset, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to manage complex project demands, balancing quality, budget, and programme constraints.
• A strong leadership approach, capable of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
