Are you a dynamic and results-driven National Account Director with a passion for the electrical industry and wholesale channel? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment?

As we experience growth we look to strengthen our Trade Team. We are seeking a talented National Account Director to manage and develop our presence within the wholesale channel.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing existing national and/or buying group accounts within the electrical industry and wholesale channel.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive significant sales and profit growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers within our strategic wholesaler partners.
  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximise brand visibility.
  • Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimise performance.
  • Collaborating with all internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of account plans (especially Trade, Specification, End User, Contractor, Specialists, Product Management, Marketing and all Supply Chain colleagues).
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a National Account Director within the electrical industry, specifically within the Wholesale channel.
  • A strong track record of managing and growing national accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with CRM and MS Excel Software (CRM, preferably SalesForce).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving license and able to travel as required.
  • BA/BSc degree in Business, Marketing or a related field experience.
