Supply Chain Lead – Innovation

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on skills, experience, and location)

A Bit About the Job

As a Supply Chain Lead, you’ll be part of a dedicated team within Aviva’s Health business, focusing on identifying and evaluating innovative supply chain opportunities. Your role will involve assessing supplier advancements, developing future-proof strategies, and leading process improvements that improve efficiency and sustainability. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll provide data-driven insights that influence key business decisions and shape Aviva’s approach to healthcare innovation. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will help Aviva stay ahead of market trends and deliver meaningful solutions for our customers.

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management, ideally within healthcare or a related field.
  • Strong ability to assess market trends, supplier performance, and commercial viability through data analysis.
  • Proven success in overseeing supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and compliance.
  • A track record of driving process improvements and implementing forward-thinking supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.

What You’ll Get for This Role:

  • Starting salary between £45,000 and £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 10% (D grade) of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
