Clinician in Small Animal Hospital

Salary: Grade 7, £40,497 - £45,413 per annum

The University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Hospital is seeking to recruit a Clinician to contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administrative processes associated with professional phase (final year) veterinary undergraduate students participating in rotations within the small animal hospital. You will have oversight of all undergraduate teaching within the small animal hospital and contribute to the development of clinical teaching.

The School of Biodiversity One Health and Veterinary Medicine has an excellent international reputation in teaching, clinical services and research and is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the European Association of Establishments of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Our purpose-built hospital is one of the most sophisticated in Europe allowing companion animals from across the United Kingdom to benefit for the most advanced care available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year from some of the best specialist vets in the world.

Applications are invited from candidates with a veterinary degree or equivalent, registerable with RCVS and experience within clinical practice.
