Head of Group Colleague Relations – Tesco
Location: Welwyn Garden City 2 days – Hybrid
Salary: Competitve

Tesco is looking for an experienced Head of Group Colleague Relations to lead and evolve its colleague relations strategy, ensuring a high-impact, people-focused approach across all markets. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive culture, driving engagement, and ensuring compliance while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Group Colleague Relations team, driving proactive problem resolution, colleague engagement, and a positive workplace culture across all markets.
Partner with senior stakeholders across Tesco’s People, Legal, and business teams to align on colleague relations and compliance priorities.
Collaborate with Workplace Relations and Policy teams to shape best practices, ensuring fairness and consistency while adapting to local market nuances.
Use data-driven insights to identify trends and emerging issues, influencing strategic decision-making and cultural change.
Lead a global, multi-cultural team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture while building future-fit capability.
Ensure operational excellence across all colleague relations processes, embedding continuous improvement.
Navigate high-impact colleague relations issues, working closely with union partners and expertise teams to implement values-led change programs.

What We’re Looking For:
Extensive experience in a senior colleague/employee relations leadership role within a complex, multinational organisation.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the highest levels.
Proven experience leading global teams and driving organisational change.
Strong analytical skills, using data insights to inform colleague relations strategies.
Deep knowledge of employment law and workplace relations across multiple regions.
